Pricing Information

Will I incur delivery charges?

Delivery is charged for all orders, with the exception being electronic products. Customers are able to choose from a tracked courier or a standard postal services.

The IFRS Foundation is an independent not-for-profit organisation. Asking our customers to pay for shipping is part of our strategy to devote more of our limited budget toward the standard-setting process.

What delivery methods do you offer?

UPS Courier is the fastest shipping method we have available, and the one we recommend. Customers will receive tracking details once the order has been shipped and it takes between 2-7 business days for the parcel to arrive. A signature is necessary at delivery.

International Mail is our more affordable option and can take up to 30 business days for parcels to arrive, and there is not any tracking information available.

For further information on shipping, please see our web shop here.

Will I be charged customs fees?

If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to the customs clearance must be paid by you. It is accepted by you that IFRS Foundation has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance.

We recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your order. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that needs to be paid. In addition, any charges for important clearance will be paid by you, the customer.

What payment methods do you accept?

The most straight forward way to place your order and make your payment is online through the web shop using a VISA, Mastercard or AMEX card.

We are happy to accept payments by bank transfer or cheque, but you will need to request a quotation invoice from us first in order to do this. Please email us with the details of the products or services you would like to order at publications@ifrs.org.

For all bank transfer payments, please ensure you include the IFRS Foundation's Order number in the reference field on your bank's transfer documentation. Failure to do so may delay your order significantly as we may not be able to identify your payment.

Will there be bank charges if I pay via bank transfer?

Banks may charge a fee for transferring money internationally and this amount will vary depending on your bank and the amount of money being transferred. We would recommend checking with your bank on any applicable fees before transferring any money to ensure we receive the correct amount, as failure to do so will result in your order being delayed until all monies owed are received.

Will I be charged VAT?

Yes, VAT will be charged on all electronic products for all UK and EU customers who have not supplied us with a valid VAT number. The current rate for VAT is 20%.

The Comprehensive Subscription is made up of books which are not liable for VAT and electronic online access which is liable for VAT, the rate charged for VAT is a composite rate which varies depending on the EU country.
